Journey of Grace Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Phil and Patty Elder
Pastors
Journey of Grace Church was birthed from a deep desire to see a fresh wind of God's Spirit move through the Tampa Bay area. As our Pastors, Phil and Patty Elder each bring a unique and crucial set of gifts to walk out the vision God has given them for Journey of Grace.
While Phil's desire is for everyone to hear the good news of Christ, he knows and believes that discipleship is the next step and the key to getting to know who God is. In perfect concert to his vision, Patty brings the giftings and talent of having spent over 37 years disciplining, teaching, training leaders, and casting vision. Her heart's desire is to see people set free - walking in an authentic relationship with Jesus and living in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Patty has her Bachelor's Degree in Theology and a Certification in Christian Counseling. She is the author of, "Lord, Transform My Heart", a biblical teaching on issues of the heart.
She and Phil have been happily married since 1997. They have one son, Taylor.
